When you buy a new phone, one of the first things you need to do is transfer your data. This includes your contacts, photos, videos, WhatsApp messages, apps, and personal files. The good news is that modern smartphones make this process simple. You don’t need a computer, cable, or technical knowledge.

Before You Start (Important)
- Charge both phones to at least 50%
- Connect both phones to Wi-Fi
- Keep both phones close together
Step 1: Transfer Data from Android to Android
You’ll use the official Google Backup system.
On your old phone:
- Open Settings
- Tap Google
- Tap Backup
- Turn on Backup to Google Drive
- Tap Back up now
Now switch to your new phone:
- Turn it on
- Connect to Wi-Fi
- Sign in with the same Google account
- Select Restore Backup

Step 2: Transfer Data from iPhone to iPhone

Step 4: Transfer Data from iPhone to Android
Use Google Drive backup.
On your old iPhone:
- Install Google Drive
- Sign in
- Tap Menu → Settings → Backup
- Tap Start Backup
On your new Android:
- Sign in with the same Google account
- Your contacts, photos, and calendar sync automatically
Step 5: Transfer WhatsApp Chats (Important)
Android → Android:
- Open WhatsApp → Settings → Chats → Chat Backup → Back up
- On new phone → Sign in → Tap Restore
iPhone → iPhone:
- WhatsApp → Settings → Chats → Chat Backup
- Backup on old phone → Restore on new
Android ↔ iPhone:
- Use Transfer Chats option inside WhatsApp
